About Me

Hi, I’m Caligha Ellis, a dedicated marketing student with a passion for strategic thinking and creativity. As a first-generation college student at the University of Akron, I’m excited to refine my skills and knowledge while taking full advantage of the opportunities UA has to offer. I believe that great marketing not only tells a story but also connects with people on a deeper level.

Outside of marketing or school, you can find me connecting with friends, reading a nice book, or creating art which fuels my creativity and keeps me grounded.

Achievements

Educational

In high school, I was an NHS inductee and officer. A section leader in the marching band, and recipient of many awards. I graduated with an associate’s degree and continued my education to the University of Akron. At UA I have made and maintained the Dean’s list, joined the NSLS Honors Society, and began my marketing career.

Personal

In my personal life, I am the eldest of all the children in my family and the first of anyone in my family to attend college. I have always lived my life as a role model and would be described as true leader and barrier breaker.
